DSB reading lights with COMPIN-FAINSA / TALGO
n a tender open to manufacturers from all over the world, the Danish operator DSB awarded Talgo in February 2020 the construction of new units to renew a large part of its fleet of passenger cars, intended for domestic Intercity services and connections with Germany . The framework contract, worth 500 million euros, involves the supply of an initial order for 8 complete trains with a commercial speed of 200 km/h, belonging to the Talgo 230 technology platform and fully interoperable and compatible with locomotives from other manufacturers. .
